
Looking ahead: Key highlights from EIT Urban Mobility in 2026
2026 is well under way, and at EIT Urban Mobility the year ahead is filled with exciting activities, events and opportunities. Together, these initiatives aim to foster innovation and accelerate the transition to sustainable urban mobility and more liveable cities. Here's a glimpse of some highlights:
Events
Join us at our flagship events: Community Days on 24-25 March in Copenhagen and Tomorrow Mobility World Congress on 3-5 November in Barcelona.
We'll also be present at major industry moments including the ITS European Congress in Istanbul (27-29 April), ITF Summit in Leipzig (6-8 May), TRA2026 Conference in Hungary (18-21 May), Velo-city Conference in Rimini (16-19 June), Slush in Helsinki (19-20 November) and Polis Conference in Brussels (2-3 December).

Calls & opportunities
Since 2020, we've supported more than 520 startups and backed 235+ innovation projects, and we continue to drive change through our programmes. Check the opportunities section regularly for the latest openings. In the coming weeks, we'll publish the programme of calls for 2026.
Mark your calendar: RAPTOR 2026 Call info webinars run 21-23 January. In February, both the first cut-off of the Flagship Accelerator Open Call and the second cut-off of the Strategic Innovation Open Call will close. For Strategic Innovation, dive into the group for details and explore the consortia networking space to connect with other innovators, additional AI networking opportunities for future cut-offs will be announced in the months ahead.
Learning & resources
With over 35,000 learners enrolled in Urban Mobility Explained courses, we're thrilled to launch new content this January. Watch for engaging short fact videos, online and onsite courses in the live feed. Highlights include Sustainable Corporate Mobility, focused on better commuting, employee well-being, and emissions reduction, and Gender Equal Mobility, exploring inclusive and equitable mobility systems through gender mainstreaming.
Mobility Innovators growth
Mobility Innovators is turning 1! Thank you for making this first year incredible. As alumni from our education programmes and members of the Startups Growth Lab community join us in the upcoming weeks, our community continues to expand. More members will join their dedicated spaces in the Groups section, with additional networking opportunities coming later this year.
